Motor Vehicle Traffic Crashes as a Leading Cause of Death and Potential Years of Life Lost

This application allows a user to generate annual reports that rank all deaths in the USA by the underlying cause of death, gender, race, and age.
The data in these reports differs from the reports of the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by explicitly showing how the number of deaths as recorded by the NHTSA Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) rank up against deaths of all other causes.
IMPORTANT: Reports for Race and Hispanic Origin are currently not available for 2022 due to delays in processing the death certificates. The reports will be updated when FARS 2022 is finalized.
